Due to its hillside location, the owners of this property had a flight of external concrete steps to access their garden which was dangerous for their young children to use.

We designed a new garden room extension with sliding, folding doors leading directly to the garden and an internal staircase leading up to the main house above. Above this is a decked balcony overlooks the garden which is accessed directly from the house kitchen.

The garage was also converted into a playroom and occasional guest bedroom with its own en suite accessed off the new garden room.
