This single storey rear extension was obtained under Permitted Development, meaning no planning application was required and our client did not need to wait two months for a decision.

A 3 metre deep extension was built across the width of the house before removing the original back wall of the property to create a large, open plan kitchen dining area.  The contemporary kitchen with integrated appliances and breakfast bar is double the size of the previous galley kitchen and is flooded with daylight from above.

Relocating the dining area into the other half of the extension created a larger living room separated by internal glazed sliding doors whilst an external set of doors leads to the new decking and remodelled rear garden.
